Questions

Good to know.

Why doesn’t the bedroom have a window?

That’s the Manhattan layout. With the bedroom in the middle of the plan, every window serves the living space, where you spend your waking hours. The bedroom is still a separate room, not a corner of a studio.

What are the lease and service charge?

Each apartment has a 999-year lease at a peppercorn ground rent. The service charge is estimated at an average of £1,500 a year, depending on the size of the apartment.

Can first-time buyers save on stamp duty?

Under current rules, eligible first-time buyers may pay no stamp duty. First-time buyer relief applies to a main residence costing £500,000 or less, with no stamp duty on the first £300,000. Rules can change and depend on your circumstances.
